CauseCentric Productions Joins the National #GivingTuesday Movement
to Encourage Spending With a Purpose
I am pleased to announce that CauseCentric Productions has joined #GivingTuesday, a unique effort that will harness the collective power of a creative blend of partners — charities, families, businesses and individuals — to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. Coinciding with the Thanksgiving Holiday and the kickoff of the holiday shopping season, #GivingTuesday will inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they support and help create a better world. Taking place December 3, 2013 — the Tuesday after Thanksgiving — #GivingTuesday will harness the power of social media to create a national movement around the holidays dedicated to giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are, today, synonymous with holiday shopping.
The mission of CauseCentric Productions is to produce and distribute multi-media content with an emphasis on short films to amplify the voices and communicate the stories of solution focused grassroots organizations and individuals working on environmental and socio-cultural issues. Stated simply: we use storytelling to ignite action and we champion great causes. #GivingTuesday is a perfect day for CauseCentric. We both give nonprofits a platform on which to stand. I am so excited to partner with #GivingTuesday and align our missions for the launch of the giving season.
